Giving Tuesday

Dear YWCA of Queens supporter,

As the year comes to a close, we are reminded of the importance of giving back to our communities. We are proud to participate in Giving Tuesday, a global movement that encourages people to support their favorite charities and causes. At the YWCA of Queens, we are committed to our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. We believe that everyone deserves to live in a world without hate, and we are working tirelessly to make that a reality.

Our campaign of ‘Creating a World without Hate’ is a testament to our commitment to this cause. We are also proud of our program ‘Happy & Well’, which we launched two years ago to support parents, especially mothers, with young children. The program has been very well received by the community, and we are thrilled to have expanded to Korean, Chinese, and Spanish speaking groups. We believe that every parent deserves access to resources that help them raise happy and healthy children.

We are organizing a Toy Giveaway on December 22 for the children in our community. Last year, we were able to provide Christmas gifts to around 400 children, including toys, coats, and boots. We are also running a Toy Drive, and if you would like to contribute, your donation will help us purchase toys for those in need
